NOTE TO MEMBERS:

HITA is currently working to provide 2 virtual Zoom classes and 2 in-person classes each year.  HITA members will need to attend the Fall Continuing Education classes in person at each of the four satellite locations in Memphis, Nashville, Chattanooga & Knoxville.  The addresses of each satellite location and regional directors are listed below.

Fall Classes:

 

Mike Twitty will present: “A Guide to Good Electrical Inspections”  (8am-12pm, 4 hours C.E.)

Mike Twitty lives in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, just outside of Nashville. After retiring from a
30-year career as an industrial electrician at Ford Motor Company, Mike pursued his
passion for home inspection. He began his inspection career in 2004 and retired from
the business in 2021. He now provides electrical training for home inspectors at various
locations across the country.

He holds certifications as a residential building inspector and residential and
commercial electrical inspector from the International Code Council and is a
Tennessee-licensed electrician and state licensed electrical code inspector. Mike was
also a compliance inspector for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ special
adapted housing program for many years. He has authored several technical articles on
home inspection and electrical subjects for national publications.

Bryan Huffine will present “Architectural Metal Roofing”  (1pm -3pm 2 hours C.E.).

 

Bryan Huffine has worked in the metal roofing industry for 36 years, from installation to sales.  He has extensive knowledge of metal roofing and the industry behind the installation and sales of metal roofing materials.
